Between 1861 & 1901 he was a Coal Miner but later Luke became a Shopkeeper and made Boiled Sweets. He also had a small holding at the top of Milton to grow flowers. Luke died on 11th January 1909 in the District of Barnsley.

He was a Coal Miner between 1881 & 1911. In 1881 the family resided at 25, Green Lane, Rawmarsh, in 1891 at 53, Doncaster and Saltersbrook Road and between 1901 & 1911at 25, Ivy Terrace, Osborne Street, Barnsley.

Not sure who her real father was as her mother was a minor so will assume at this stage that William was the father, although in 1851 she was listed as a House Servant under the name of Isabella Mallison at Main Street, Cleckheaton. She married William Haigh in 1855 in the District of Rotherham and had four children, Catherine, John William, George & Elizabeth. In 1861 she and her children were living with her parents at Water Lane, Hoyland Nether as her husband was in Prison at the time. The family were reunited once again  and resided at 7, Minor Street, Headingley, Leeds in 1871

After Abraham died the family resided at 31, Excelsior Terrace, Colt Lane, Worsbrough between 1901 & 1911.

In 1862 the family resided at Milton Iron Works, Hoyland, in 1865 at Ravel Row, Westmuir, Glasgow, in 1867 at Kilnhurst, Rawmarsh. He then married (2)Isabella Clavering at Sheffield Register Office on 5th January 1878 and had one child, Ernest. He and his new wife resided in 1878 at 23 Sussex Street, Sheffield, in 1881 at 258 Sheffield Road, Brinsworth, Yorkshire and in 1891 at 7, Bellvue Cottages, Ellenborough, Cumberland. He lived with his youngest son in 1911 at 4, Elizabeth Street, Hoyland Nether. His occupation between 1861 and 1867 was an Iron Puddler, in 1881 a Mill Labourer (Fac Lab) and in 1891 was a Hammerman. He died in 1914 in Barnsley.
