His occupation was a Linen Weaver and the family resided in Worsbrough in 1841. In 1851 the family resided at George Brown Houses but by 1871 the family moved to 1, Whalley Houses, Worsbrough. He died in 1873 and on 4th September 1873 was buried at St Thomas Church, Worsbrough.

Thomas was baptised on 8th September 1789 at St Mary Church, Nottingham.  He married Hannah Twells in 1811 at Nottingham and had three children, Elizabeth, William & Hannah. He was a Frame Work Knitter in 1816.

The family resided in Baker Street, Barnsley in 1841, at 2, Raywood Row, Barnsley between 1851 and 1871 then in 1881 he was a Widower living with his daughter, Alice at 58, Copper Street, Barnsley and again in 1891 at 33, Bank Street, Barnsley. His occupation was a Hand Loom Linen Weaver between 1841 & 1864, a Power Loom Linen Weaver between 1871 & 1891 and a Steam Weaver in 1902. He died in 1905 in the District of Barnsley.

She was baptised at Wigan on 9th September 1821. Elizabeth resided with her Parents and Siblings at Crook, Shevington in 1841. She married Peter Worthington on 15th March 1846 at Upholland and had twelve children, Margaret, Thomas, Jane, John, Esther, Peter, William, Elizabeth, Mary, Ann, Richard & Samuel. In 1851 the family resided at 82, Marsh Green, Pemberton, in 1861 at 33, Crook Shevington and at 25, Crawford Village, Upholland in 1871 and in 1881 at 108, Chapel Green Road, Hindley. Elizabeth died at 4, Hamilton Street, Chadderton, Lancashire at the age of 77. She moved to live with her daughter following the death of Peter. After her death she was brought back to be buried with her husband and other family members in Hindley Cemetery, Wigan Road, Hindley, Near Wigan.

He was baptised on 10th August 1794 at St Wilfred Church, Standish. Henry married Ann Worthington and had five children, Ruth, Maria, Jane, Spence & George. In 1841 the family were living with his father in law at Finch Mill & Nook, Shevington. He was a Coal miner at the time.

She married Hubert Worthington and had three children, Joshua, Elizabeth & Clara. In 1881 the family resided at 84, High Street, Standish. Not sure where her husband was, why they stilled called her Higham and why the gaps in her childrens ages were so great. This family is a puzzle.

The family resided in Shevington in 1841 and at Batey House, Pemberton in 1851. In 1861 they were back at 38, Crook Shevington. She died on 2 February 1869 at Shevington. The family resided at Farrimond Houses, Schofield Lane, Wigan in 1851, in 1861 at Darlington Street, Ince and at Manchester Road, Ince in Makerfield in 1871. In 1881 he was a Widow living with his brothers wife at 84, high Street, Standish. He was an Agricultural Labourer in 1841 and 1851, A Plate Layer in 1861, an Iron Works Labourer in 1871 and a Labourer in 1881. He was found drowned in a Colliery Reservoir in Standish in 1885.

In 1851 the family resided at 82, Marsh Green, Pemberton, in 1861 at 33, Crook Shevington, at 25, Crawford Village, Upholland in 1871 and in 1881 at 108, Chapel Green Road, Hindley. Peter worked as a Coal Miner all his life until he died of pneumonia on 25th May 1887 in Hindley, Lancashire. He was buried at Hindley Cemetery, Wigan Road, Hindley.

Richard was baptised at St Wilfred Church, Standish on 25th May 1823. In 1841 he was a Dyer. He married Mary Unknown and had one child, Mary J. In 1861 the family resided at 14, Bradshaw Street, Little Bolton.  He was a Labourer for White Washer at the time.

He was baptised on 28th March 1813. William married (1) Sarah Platt on 27th June 1836 and had nine children, Peter, Jane, James, Moses, Abraham, Ann, William, Elizabeth & Maria. The family resided in Shevington in 1841 and at Batey House, Pemberton in 1851. In 1861 they were back at 38, Crook Shevington. After the death of his first wife in the District of Wigan in 1869 he married (2), Elizabeth Waite nee Rainford. In 1871 they resided at Lamberhead Green, Pemberton. He was a Coal Miner between 1861 and 1881. William died on 23rd March 1894 at Pemberton, Lancashire.
