Elizabeth died at 4, Hamilton Street, Chadderton, Lancashire at the age of 77. She moved to live with her daughter following the death of Peter. After her death she was brought back to be buried with her husband and other family members in Hindley Cemetery, Wigan Road, Hindley, Near Wigan. |

Peter was baptised at St Wilfred Church, Standish on 12th August 1816. He married Alice Reed in 1850 in the District of Wigan and had one child Henry. Alice already had a child, William when they married so not sure if it is his or not. The family resided at Farrimond Houses, Schofield Lane, Wigan in 1851, in 1861 at Darlington Street, Ince and at Manchester Road, Ince in Makerfield in 1871. In 1881 he was a Widow living with his brothers wife at 84, high Street, Standish. He was an Agricultural Labourer in 1841 and 1851, A Plate Layer in 1861, an Iron Works Labourer in 1871 and a Labourer in 1881. He was found drowned in a Colliery Reservoir in Standish in 1885. |

He married Elizabeth Close on 15th March 1846 at Upholland and had twelve children, Margaret, Thomas, Jane, John, Esther, Peter, William, Elizabeth, Mary, Ann, Richard & Samuel. In 1851 the family resided at 82, Marsh Green, Pemberton, in 1861 at 33, Crook Shevington, at 25, Crawford Village, Upholland in 1871 and in 1881 at 108, Chapel Green Road, Hindley. Peter worked as a Coal Miner all his life until he died of pneumonia on 25th May 1887 in Hindley, Lancashire. He was buried at Hindley Cemetery, Wigan Road, Hindley. |

The family resided in Shevington in 1841 and at Batey House, Pemberton in 1851. In 1861 they were back at 38, Crook Shevington. After the death of his first wife in the District of Wigan in 1869 he married (2), Elizabeth Waite nee Rainford. In 1871 they resided at Lamberhead Green, Pemberton. He was a Coal Miner between 1861 and 1881. William died on 23rd March 1894 at Pemberton, Lancashire. |
