Eliza was allowed to live for the rest of her life in the Old Mill cottage on the Faxley Estate rent free. Eliza had some pride and insisted on paying the amount due. She married William Scrivens on 29th June 1862 at Blaisdon Church, Gloucestershire and had seven children, Eliza, Martha, Emily, William, Charles, Harriet & Elizabeth. Between 1871 and 1881 the family resided at Green Bottom, East Dean, Gloucestershire. She was a Widowed Charwoman residing at Guns Hill, East Dean, Forest of Dean in 1901. Eliza died on 10th June 1916 at Abenhall, Gloucestershire. |

William joined the 41st (Welsh) Regiment on foot on 5th January 1855 and was discharged as being unfit on 18th June 1861. When the Crimean War broke out the 41st Regiment with the rest of the British Army were landed some 50 miles north of Sevastapol. Marching southwards they were soon in battle at Alma River, Inkerman and the siege of Sevastapol. The troops then had to suffer the rigours of the Russian winter before the peace treaty was signed in March 1856. He married Eliza Reynolds on 29th June 1862 at Blaisdon Church, Gloucestershire and had seven children, Eliza, Martha, Emily, William, Charles, Harriet & Elizabeth. Between 1871 and 1881 the family resided at Green Bottom, East Dean, Gloucestershire. He died on 10th May 1899 at Green Bottom, Gloucestershire and was buried on 15th May 1899 at Holy Trinity (Forest) Church, Drybrook, Gloucestershire. He was a Labourer between 1871 & 1881. |

He was a Sawyer in 1871. George died in 1890 and on 18th November 1890 was buried at St Peter Church, Filton, Gloucestershire. |
