They brought him to Barnsley sometime after 1911. He married Annie Ellis on 17th December 1923 at St Mary Church, Barnsley and had three children, Betty, Frank & Barbara. The family lived at 10, Cherry's Road, Cundy Cross, Barnsley from 1939 until 1963. In 1911 he was a Coal Miner detaller. Frank enrolled in the Manchester Regiment during the 1st World War and was demobbed on 15th March 1919. He immediately went back to the Coal Mining Trade until his death. Frank died on 17th February 1959 and was buried on 20th February 1959 at Monk Bretton Cemetery, Monk Bretton, Barnsley, Yorkshire. |

He had tattoo marks on his chest, Buffalo Bill and Mother on his left forearm, Hands, Heart, Star and Horse Shoe Lady on his right forearm. He also had a scar on his upper lip.
