The family resided at 60, Hoyland Road, Hoyland Nether in 1901 but she was listed as a wife residing at Regent Street, Hoyland Common with her two children, Fred wasn't at the abode, but in 1939 resided at Rydal Mount, Leigh, Lancashire with their daughter Mildred. |

In 1891 the family were living at 14, Charleston Street, Brightside Bierlow, Sheffield and between 1901 & 1911 at 93, Wincobank Lane, Brightside Bierlow but in 1939 he was a widow and resided at 23, Southey Hall Road, Sheffield, Yorkshire with his daughter Ethel adn her family. Alfred was a Blacksmith Striker between 1881 and 1901 and between 1911 & 1939 was a Blacksmith at the Railway Wagon Works although he had retired by 1939. |
